General terms of sale and use

Article 1 — Purpose
These terms of sale and use govern the sale and use of the services (consulting, training, e-learning platforms, video production, development) and digital products (online courses, SaaS applications) offered on smartofficesolutions.io. Any order or acceptance of a quote implies full and unreserved acceptance of these terms.
Article 2 — Services on quotation
Estimates shown by interactive forms are indicative only. Only the written commercial proposal is binding on the parties. The service starts after written acceptance and payment of the agreed deposit (usually 30% to 50%).
Article 3 — Ordering online courses
Orders are placed on the website: a reference (format SOS-AAMMJJ-XXXX) is generated and must appear in the payment description. Access details are sent by email within 24 business hours of receipt of payment. Courses marked “in production” are delivered as soon as they go live, at no extra cost.
Article 4 — Prices and payment
Prices are stated in Mauritian rupees (Rs), net of tax unless otherwise stated. Payment is made via Juice by MCB or by transfer to the MCB account of Smart Office Solutions Ltd, quoting the order reference. No bank details are entered on the website. SaaS subscriptions are billed in advance and may be cancelled with effect from the end of the current term.
Article 5 — On-site training
Price per participant, with no minimum number of participants. Travel included in Mauritius; Rodrigues on quote. Free cancellation up to 7 days before the session; after that, free rescheduling to a later date.
Article 6 — Withdrawal and refunds
Online courses: refund possible within 7 days of access being sent if less than 20% of the content has been viewed. SaaS: free trial where offered; otherwise, pro rata refund within 14 days of the first payment. Services: as per the accepted quote.
Article 7 — HRDC funding
Eligible training may qualify for partial reimbursement by the Human Resource Development Council, subject to prior approval, the company's eligibility and compliance with procedures. Smart Office Solutions never guarantees that funding will be obtained.
Article 8 — Certificates
Certificates and micro-credentials issued by Smart Office Solutions Ltd are internal certificates; they are neither a diploma nor an accredited certification.
Article 9 — AI Consultant Programme
The programme is governed by a tripartite agreement between the host company, the intern and Smart Office Solutions. The company remains responsible for the intern's working conditions and for compliance with applicable employment law.
Article 10 — Liability
Smart Office Solutions is bound by a best-efforts obligation. Its liability is capped at the amounts paid over the previous 12 months and excludes indirect damages.
Article 11 — Governing law
Mauritian law. Failing amicable settlement, the courts of the Republic of Mauritius have exclusive jurisdiction.

Identity and contact details (name, company, e-mail, phone) and project information sent through the quote, information request, demo, order, download and contact forms. The forms calculate a priority indicator from your answers (size, timing, budget) to organise our call-backs; it does not lead to any automated decision about you. No bank details are collected by the site.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Handling your requests and orders (pre-contractual measures and contract); sending commercial information with your consent; improving the site (legitimate interest); accounting and legal obligations.
4. Recipients
Smart Office Solutions Ltd and its technical subcontractors: Netlify (hosting and form handling), Google (email), Meta (WhatsApp, if you contact us through this channel). Some are located outside Mauritius and the EU and provide appropriate safeguards.
5. Retention periods
Prospects: 3 years after last contact. Clients: duration of the relationship, then 7 years for accounting records.
6. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent: write to smartofficesolutions411@gmail.com. You may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Office (Mauritius) or your supervisory authority in the EU.
7. Cookies and local storage
The website uses no advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Browser storage is used only for the course cart and access to guides already requested.
