For the company

Smarter recruitment, a delivered project

Rather than searching for an AI profile that is impossible to find, train one on your own processes and make an informed hiring decision.

Recruit risk-free

Three months to assess skills, soft skills and fit before offering a contract.

A profile trained on your processes

The intern learns on your tools, your documents and your constraints, not on generic cases.

Gains from the internship onwards

The capstone project produces real automations, measured in hours freed up.

Controlled costs

Training invoiced to the company; the training component is eligible for HRDC funding subject to conditions.

A secure framework

Tripartite agreement, AI usage charter and confidentiality rules from day one.

A go-to person for your teams

After the programme, the future AI lead trains and supports their colleagues.

Who does what

Three parties, clear commitments

The company

Funds the training, appoints a tutor, assigns the tasks, pays the internship allowance and provides the workstation.

Smart Office Solutions

Delivers the 12 training days, sets the roadmap with you, runs follow-up reviews and the final assessment. Can shortlist candidates on request.

The intern

Attends the training, runs the capstone project, abides by the confidentiality charter and presents their results.

Intern status

What you need to know before hosting an intern in Mauritius

Mauritian legislation provides no specific legal status for a company “internship”. Where the intern performs work for the company, the relationship may fall under employment law (notably the Workers' Rights Act 2019 and the Occupational Safety and Health Act 2005). We therefore recommend a written, transparent framework.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does the programme cost the company?
The price depends on the number of interns and the level of support required (shortlisting, enhanced follow-up). It is provided in the company pack, with an HRDC funding simulation if you are eligible.
Does the intern need a technical background?
No. Above all we look for curiosity, rigour and strong writing skills. The programme starts from the fundamentals.
Which day is the training held?
One fixed day per week, shared by the whole cohort and confirmed at registration. Sessions are held in person in Moka or in a virtual classroom, depending on the cohort.
What happens if the internship is not a good fit?
The agreement sets out early termination terms. We review progress every four weeks to correct course before any blockage.
I am an individual — can I follow the programme without a company?
Yes: select “A candidate” in the form. We will offer you a partner host company or the individual option of the SOS AI Consultant Academy.
